HI, I'M BRITTANY LAUREN!
I'm the dreamer and doer behind Brittany Lauren Creates (previously Brittany Lauren Photography). In 2012, I left my corporate job in NYC to start my photography business full time. Most thought I was a little crazy for taking the leap (including me some days) but I knew it's what I was meant to do. And I'm so glad I did!
I love connecting with your families in their real moments, enjoying time with the people you love the most, when you're full of love and laughter and a little bit of chaos. That's what makes me feel alive inside and why I do what I do. I want you to see your family in your photos the way I know you feel with them. Now as a mom of two very active, amazing little boys, I know just how special it is to be in front of and behind the camera. I know the feeling of wanting to see the REAL moments with your babies. It's your story and I'm honored to be the one to capture a tiny part of that for you!
A FEW FUN THINGS ABOUT ME!
• My first priority is my family! We have two amazing little toddler boys that I get stay home with. We spend most of our days outdoors gardening, building something fun like a mud kitchen or pretending to be a new animal we learned about on Wild Kratz. They keep life very fun and my need for coffee very high! I'm very thankful God called me to be there mama.
• I'm a DIY queen - one of the reasons I changed the name from photography to creates! Give me an ugly piece of furniture and a dysfunctional space and I'll make magic happen. Currently DIYing my way through our renovation of #griggsfixerupper
• Before we had kids, my husband, Jordan, and I were full-time RVers for 2 years mostly chasing great golf course destinations. I don't know much about golf or play, but my husband does and I love to travel. Year 1 in our renovated camper #monteethecamper . Year 2 in #diegotherv. I wouldn't trade that crazy journey for anything!
• I have a big heart for rescue animals, especially ours! #EllaGriggs was our first rescue dog together that we miss so much. We now have 2 dogs and 1 cat. We have also had a lot of foster dogs that have found great homes.
• Entrepreneurship and helping women build businesses they love is a HUGE passion of mine! Between my husband and me, we have owned 4!
