Rachel and Jeff’s sunset engagement session in the park

Rachel and Jeff are one of those couples you see in the movies.  They met on a train in Texas and Jeff knew he’d met one very special lady!  Like a gentleman, he politely asked for her number and we all know how it goes from there.  After Jeff graduated law school, they both moved to New York City to start new jobs and a new chapter.  They added a new member to their household about a year ago, Zoey, the sweetest golden doodle ever.

It is so evident how much Jeff adores Rachel and he wanted to make their engagement very special.  He planned a trip to Belgium and surprised Rachel with a long weekend away.  To hear Rachel describe their trip, how they spent their days with no plans, exploring and just being with each other, will make you feel like you’re in their movie.  Jeff proposed in the middle of a park on a gorgeous day in Bruges.  How romantic!

I loved photographing them for their engagement session.  We started at their apartment which was so fun with all of their awesome colors.  Jeff picked the blue wall color out, by the way 🙂  They have the sweetest dog Zoey and we wanted to include her in every part of their session. We then went to the park around sunset with their picnic blanket in hand.  They love to spend time in the park on the weekends relaxing and hanging out with Zoey.
