Seniorologie Tour Texas Awesomeness – Day 1

I had the awesome opportunity to attend the Seniorologie Tour Texas October 21-23 and, let me tell you, IT WAS AWESOME!! If you don’t remember or didn’t see it, I won a seat to attend through a video contest a few months back. I never thought the day would actually come to go to Texas but it did.

From the minute I walked into the lobby of the hotel, I was blown away. We stayed in an awesome hotel, NYLO, which was inspired by NYC so I felt at home.  The Welcome Reception that evening started off with a bang with a surprise speaker, Jen Basford of 3 girls photography.

The start of day 1 was all about posing and styling! Amii Wroblewski of Amii Wroblewski Photography shared her workflow on posing Seniors while making them feel comfortable and beautiful during their session.

The fabulous Tara Swain of Tara Swain Photography who is known for her bold images full of style, taught us how she goes about styling each Senior session and making it fit her client’s personality.

After a fabulous morning of learning, it was time to shoot!! This gorgeous High School Senior is Emily class of 2013. She was so natural in front of the camera and full of life.

Meet Gracie class of 2013! She totally rocked her orange dress from Altar’d State and those boots, well I wouldn’t mind a pair in my closet.

Both Emily and Gracie are beautiful on the inside and out. I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to shoot with them and learn from the best in the biz right beside me.
