The best kind of family session | Charlotte photographer

Every once in awhile, I walk away from a session thinking “Oh my gosh, that was the best session ever.”  And this was one of those sessions.  The stars just aligned.  Baby Knox was in the best kind of mood, smiling and laughing the whole time.  The sun light was the best kind of yummy.  Mom and Dad chose awesome outfits that coordinated perfectly.  It was a gorgeous Fall day with the perfect temperature.  All of these things created the best environment for me to focus all of my energy on being creative and truly capturing this adorable family.

As a photographer, most of the time, one or more of the variables above are lacking.  It could be a number of things: the wind might be blowing too hard, it’s too hot or too cold, baby is having a bad day, mom and dad aren’t getting along on this particular day or outfits get changed around from what we had originally talked about.  When something isn’t quite right, I have to focus even more energy on making sure I can still create the kind of session I know my client wants and that I want for my client.  BUT when everything is perfect, I am a happy, carefree, focused photographer and this kind of family session is what happens!
